Calling Obama that does [not] bother me. It was intended to call attention to Obama’s style of campaigning and the way some people fawned over him. Voight was also saying that Obama was promising things he could not deliver, which does look to be a correct statement.

His style of campaigning was religious-like? That would be quite a shock to the number of conservative pols who openly channel God’s will and word (according to Republican Jesus) in their speeches. The way some people fawn over him is just as much a creation of the right as it is the truth. Last, making an assumption on the success of a presidency 6 months into the (first?) term is prophesying even more than Obama promised, imo.

More importantly, pulling back a little, the language of false prophets and such plays into the stupid anti-christ, “the end times started when Obama was elected,” “can anyone save us?” BS that I can’t stomach and do consider crazy.
