Friend of mine was a manager for a thrift store (my son worked there for a while) the absolute shit that people donated never ceased to amaze me. They had a gigantic dumpster that was emptied quite often.

People think they’re being generous, dump fees cost this place a sizable chunk of cash. This was for a rescue mission, I’m just guessing, but bad donations took dinner off of the tables for needy people.

Some people donate junk, & then write it off their taxes.
