I didn’t wake up one day and decided I was attracted to girls. I realized hey so and so from such and such class is really attractive. That’s not me “choosing.” I mean if homosexuality really was a choice, would all these scions of right wing families who have turned out to be gay be gay? Would anyone really choose to be gay if they had a twisted bigot like Alan Keyes for a father? Would anyone really choose to be gay if they were a prominent preacher preaching against homosexuality? Maybe “choice” is a confusing way of phrasing it but sexual orientation isn’t a choice and frankly even if it were, it’s consenting activity between consenting adults.
