I’m calling bullshit on this. You say you’re completely in favor of 100% legal abortion (Whatever you mean by that. Does that mean that you’re in favor of abortions when they’re allowed by law?) and that you’re not in favor of emotive arguments, but then you try to take a pretty objectively true statement and twist it into, uh, an emotional statement.

No, my point is that the post shows an image of the invasive sonogram procedure to invoke an emotional response. But it ignores the greater degree of invasiveness of the abortion itself. I don’t care about emotional arguments like these so much. The fact that the sonogram is FORCED by law is good enough for me to be against it. Appealing to emotion is a tactic used by anti-abortion forces, and I’m not in favor of the method of argument when a perfectly rational approach is available.
