Which reveals one of the inherent problems with a factchecking site: They check such a small percentage of the total statements made.

They usually pay more attention to claims that appear outrageous or blatantly false so the samples are a little skewed. The fact checkers are meant to check individual claims, to use them as a survey of who’s more dishonest is misusing the concept.
