And by coincidence (?) the progressives are the experts who can do the “perfecting.” This self-serving tripe has caused much death, destruction and damage over the centuries and very little (I would say “none”) perfecting. It is well past time for this miserable ideology to die. Maybe at last bankruptcy will finally kill it. Good riddance to miserable rubbish.

Appearance over substance, ic. They don’t want to actually be ethically superior, they just want to appear so. Self-deception is a large part of their psychology.

Progressives don’t care about facts because they’re taught that feelings are “truer” than facts. And, they’re intellectually lazy. It takes no effort at all to feel but thinking requires effort. If feelings trump facts, why make the effort to form a coherent, logical thought?
