The problem isn’t that those jackasses are speaking, but that they’re being picked up as the public face of what’s going on. I’m not going to attend a protest with ANSWER signs and Workers World Party banners.

Stupid ANSWER, feh. Haven’t been to one of those things since they kicked them off in the early 00s.

I would have gone yesterday, though, had I could have made it; to document, and see for myself instead of relying on either what’s presented as the public face, or some breathless report of the latest utterances of Cornel West. As if he’s going to somehow turn an entire general election because of some crap he said at a rally.

I don’t buy that for a millisecond.
