Possible. But a more reliable indicator might be the aggregate numbers like in #564 : one individual poll or another might indeed be off for one reason or another, but when eleven national polls give the opposing candidate an average + 6.7 point lead? I think this means the campaign is starting in a moderately-deep hole.

Still early in the campaign season, though: but if those numbers are still the same, or similar, by September, the term “landslide” is, I think, going to be being used a lot more frequently.
