I agree with you, it is not an equal threat by a long shot. However, there are potentially a number of Islamic radicals in Canada who could take advantage of lax border procedures to come to the States to carry out a terrorist operation. Then there is the possibility of overseas radicals going through Canada to reach the U.S.

Napolitano sounds like an idiot because she is equating the problems at the southern border with the problems at the northern border. They are very different and need to be treated differently, but she’s too PC to say so. Actually, she probably doesn’t even understand how they are different, which is an even bigger concern.
