half way through the red zone. Raining hard, yellowy sky but no hail and the winds aren’t bad (and no rotation on the radar). If there wasn’t so much lightning I’d be temped to stand in the rain and cool off.

The forecast for Mpls/StP included a severe storm to come through starting around 4:30. As it approached, it broke up just west of the cities. I had about a minute of wind that I took as a prelude to a storm, but then the sun immediately came out for the first time today.

The really ugly stuff went north of us. Is that what you’re getting now?
