The problem is Trump’s brilliance at turning everything against his opponents. He will claim that the reason for any failure in his administration is due to the “witch hunt” and that he is a totally innocent man, exonerated of all crimes. He and his minions will use that as a cudgel to attack his opponents. The Democrats did win the House in 2018 because of their success in promoting policies, not in attacks on Trump. But the Barr report will discredit all those who challenge him. Hopefully the full report will be released some way or other and will prove to undermine everything that toady Barr asserted in his “summary”.
