Well why not look at the above links I posted… It is pretty well spelled out.

I’m not saying that to be snarky, but you claim you don’t buy it, then you claim you have read all th literature and then you ask something that shows really clearly that you have not looked into the actual science much at all.

So in answer to your question, reliable thermometer measurements gio back to the 1700’s from all lover the world thanks largely to the British, French and American Navies as well as the first meteorological associations. I will look for, but have posted before here a paper that goes into the reliability f those measurements and others for the last 300 years. The short form is that the really old stuff from the 17oos is still good to within less than a tenth of a degree. Which is more than good enough that the signal is above the noise.

Further there are the proxy records which have been vindicated and replicated and they go back thousands of years. The review of the national academy on the topic is in the links above.
