Red is the Secularist Government at Tobruk, Green is the MB Government occupying Tripoli. Dark Grey is ISIS, White is Ansar al-Sharia.

Right now, the Government at Tobruk is trying to force ISIS out of Dernah, and Ansar al-Sharia out of Benghazi and Ajdabiya.

The problem is that ISIL is trying to enter the fight in Benghazi, which poses a danger to the LNA’s attempt to stabilize the city and break the power of the radicals. The MB-affiliated groups are getting hurt bad enough by ISIS that they may make peace with the lawful government out of sheer self-defense.
