Agree with you 100% but the shoot-down isn’t going to happen. I believe Gates already said we won’t do it (and given who his boss is this isn’t a surprise) and I doubt that Japan will do it without an explicit nod from us.

You may be right. But either way, it will be interesting to see what happens! Do the NKs get a perfect test launch of an “almost” ICBM? Or will something happen to disrupt their plans? Stay tuned….
