No surprise there. It’s why so many of those who spoke of Bundy’s “patriotism” are now supporting cops hitting protestors with tear gas and rubber bullets. I’ve seen so many who’ve convinced themselves that there were looting and rioting every night since Brown’s death, that what’s happened in Ferguson has not been a peaceful protest but an unruly mob.

They have to believe it’s about anything other than race, because if they acknowledge that it’s about race, then they have to admit that they’re backing the cops for no other reason than the victim isn’t white.
