its human nature to want to fight (depending on the person) lies or ignorance.

It is human folly to think that only you know the truth and knowledge.

Even if you were able to convince every lizard here, it would not change the world one bit.

AND if you were wrong, and were in fact not fighting lies, but spreading them….

So either way you have expended the energy with zero real return.
