As you are gathering, there is literally no aspect of the Cubs broadcasts on CBS-owned 670 WSCR that is not monetized. One might think a sport that is imbedded with SO many breaks would be able to sell enough advertising during them, but obviously not.
Hell, I remember listening to Pirate games as a kid with Bob Prince and he would only go to commercials after a couple innings. Damn, the way they are going with these broadcasts now is there nothing that a company canβt sponsor.
Hmmm, I wonder who sponsors each tobacco spit????
