A Poem:

Hugo Chavez is a bad man.
He is a populist
And he has a lot of oil.
He oppresses the press
And silences dissenters
In different ways than we.
Bad, bad man.

Chavez of course is a Bolivarian and not a mainstream socialist of the European mold. It’s a little discomforting to see when Americans see the word “socialist” and the first thing that comes to mind is Hugo Chavez.
