The assertion that there were no reliable thermometers before 1850 is a flat out lie. Once again, a blanket statement with no evidence to support it from an anti-science crank.

Read the science. Ignore the lies.

Bold faced lies, those are Temperature reconstructions from proxies such as Tree Rings. The actual measured temperature record starts at about 1850, that is the reason a reconstruction is needed to ‘prove’ todays temperatures are abnormal.

I’m really beginning to doubt we are dealing with a real scientist here, and not an activist.

Asserting that Trees are equal to thermometers is the underlying deception of the alarmism. There are no thermometer based records prior to around 1850.
