Another option the Dems will surely fail to address over politics is to “de Bushify” the tax debate. In other words take an objective look at the charts and stop centering the debate about the Bush cuts. Maybe we need more upper brackets. Maybe the right number to leave alone is $200,000 per year or below, maybe it’s $300,000.

In any case get unstuck on the Bush cuts as the center of mass for the policy debate.

I can dig that.
Too bad the GOP will oppose it until the end of time.
