One would hope that his remarks went on to say that he was against separating families, and that the children should leave with their parents.
So many women die while trying to get across the border to give birth to ‘anchor babies’. It’s a real dilemma…. natural citizenship is part and parcel of one’s birth country, but when the birth site is chosen purely to obtain the benefits of citizenship…..
There’s no good solution as of now.
