Just don’t bash Standard Oil of Indiana (later Amoco, subsequently bought by BP). My father worked there for more than 30 years and that where he met my mother. So without Standard Oil, there would be no Dark_Falcon.

They got better as it were. Wasn’t that because of the Sherman Act? Anyway, the Standard Oil Company of New Jersey was a different animal back when they extended their tentacles into Latin America and effected influence on politics there.
