Larry’s stuff without Jerry was so much better. Heresy to some I’m sure but Jerry let his freak flag fly just a bit too much for me in the end. Even Horny Heinlein wasn’t as annoying.

Pournelle was a fascist. Niven’s stuff pre-Jerry was brilliant.

They did a couple of good books together, but then it went pthpthpth.

Larry never recovered from his relationship with Pournelle. He never wrote another really good story.
