there is no reasonable action other than to denounce hypocrites. when someone gives up their own car, air conditioning, food processor, TV, washer /dryer & yes internet, then let them tell me about reasonable actions.

Denouncing is soul-satisfying, but not effective. Better to determine what needs to be done, then convince the majority to do it.
