The NYT shouldn’t have done that but I’m now looking at the outcome as a masterful case of unintentional entrapment for Upchuck. Does this mean his Twitter handle will not be his own name? Will his next sock get monitored? I mean, he doesn’t seem to possess the personality that cares much for the obscurity of a nom de plume.

Those reporters need to respond somehow, maybe a lawsuit or TRO for stalking behavior.
