Did the second amendment stop the coup attack? This notion that guns are going to save you from tyranny is the height of childish and magical thinking. Facism is already at the door. Might as well just lie back and enjoy it.

Second Amendment gun rights will never be used to fight tyranny in the U.S. Tyranny supporting citizens will instead use those gun rights to enforce their tyranny over their particular “hated others.”
