I don’t have a good feeling about our chances for success in Afghanistan. We need more cooperation from Pakistan and we need to gain the trust of the local Afghan people by providing security to too many far flung villages. Petraeus has his work cut out for him.

like I’ve said before Afghanistan will be a huge bust for us in the end….there is no indication that it can be otherwise…if there is I’ve missed it…saying we can tromp the Taliban is probably true but there is just too much more to it
