It’s exactly what’s wrong with conservatism these days. The fiscal conservatives have no voice, and the rational financial discussion isn’t happening, in large part to their absence, imo.

Given the current financial situation, fiscal “conservatism” can wait. It’s better than having the same kind of depression that led to World War II.
