Pretty telling. What I find amusing is that Reagan actually did all the bad stuff they said Obama will do- amnesty, dealing with terrorists, and running deficits but as I said earlier they worship Reagan so he can literally do no wrong and if they do criticize Reagan, they blame Tip O’Neill for it.

The reason wingnuts love Reagan so much is that he was so great at acting the part of POTUS: the photo-ops, the salutes, the flag-kissing, all that theatrical shit. The fact that he totally sucked at actually BEING President slips right past them because they are so shallow, it’s all about the show, not the substance.

Also too: the reason they all freak out over photos of Obama throwing a baseball, riding a bike, because something something *MANLINESS* argle bargle
