Here in Texas, that won’t affect him. This state’s gone so far down the rabbit hole into deep red state fail that if he manages to win the GOP nomination people will still vote for him.

I think it will actually serve him very well all over the country. There are enough Christian-supremacist dupes in the GOP who don’t care about anything else but being told the things that frighten and intimidate them will be criminalized.

They’re ripe to be exploited, and Perry’s the perfect opportunist to do it.
