Right, I really don’t have issue with Reagan’s decision but yeah I do like yourself have issue with the Reagan cult and make no mistake it is a cult of personality surrounding our 40th president that acts like Reagan would have done this and that when we have actual examples of Reagan doing the same thing that the right has screamed at presidents Obama and Clinton for doing. Yeah it’s sort of passive aggressive but goddamn it I am sick of Ronald Reagan’s pathetic cult lies.

Interestingly, as I’ve matured and looked back, I’ve realized that Reagan was a better President than I’d given him credit for being. Not great, or even especially good, but not as bad as I’d thought.

But the reason is because he wasn’t really the person the Right portrays him as. They think he was great, because of who they imagine him to have been, denying who he really was.
