I think Perry will defeat Romney. Bachmann’s been pretty competitive with him which is quite an accomplishment for a congresswoman who has accomplished nothing and only has her conservative credentials and TP embrace to go on. Perry has the crazy conservativeness that Bachmann has but with executive experience. He’s been governor of Texas longer than she’s been representative And after seeing how Perry went after Hutchson in the GOP primary in TExas, I think he’d fight Romney hard too. Plus as said, Perry has corporate connections, Bachmann doesn’t have that.

The upside here is before any of these loons tries to rip Obama apart, they’re going to have to try and rip each other apart first.

Their naked ambition is going to leave whoever’s left standing a (metaphorical) bloody mess. And whatever the eventual nominee uses to dispatch his rivals will become perfect fodder for the general campaign oppo ads because they’ll already have been tested in the primaries.
