Doesn’t Shingrix require 2 shots? I got the single shot vaccine years ago, and 2 months later had the shingles, a very unpleasant experience but maybe milder because of the vaccination.

Looked it up: yes, Shingrix is the two shot version. The previous single shot was Zostavax, which is not as effective as Shingrix.

Shingrix lasts at least 4 years, and maybe longer. So boosters might be necessary. Ugh! I guess I’ll talk to my doctor.
