The International Committee of the Red Cross is screaming “torture!” again: Red Cross Finds Detainee Abuse in Guantanamo.

Well, actually, they’re screaming “tantamount to torture!” in a so-called “confidential report” they leaked to the New York Times. And it turns out, as you read the NYT’s account, they’re actually saying “tantamount to psychological torture!”

And in the end, it boils down to “you’re torturing them by not telling them when they will be released!”

(Of course, several of the terrorists who have been released from Guantanamo have returned to the jihad. But that isn’t the ICRC’s concern. Obviously.)
