So the $64,000.00 is; If elected, who will she be? All I know is a vote for a GOP candidate anywhere is a vote for the worst GOP everywhere. So now’s she’s ashamed of her party and her election money comes from…..? Stealth Grifting. Got to admit, that’s a twist.

Ah! Despite my admonition, you missed the last paragraph! She is the incumbent Secretary of State, and has much to be embarrassed about. Here’s what Dianna Duran does not wish to be associated with in the minds of non-wingnut voters:

Why would Duran be ashamed to be identified as a Republican?

Maybe it’s because women in her party co-sponsored a bill in 2013 to classify womens’ uteruses as evidence and to send rape victims to jail if they sought an abortion to end a pregnancy resulting from that rape. Or maybe it’s because Republicans were caught training poll watchers to turn away handicapped and Spanish-speaking citizens from New Mexico’s polling places in 2012. Or because fewer voters are identifying and registering with the Republican party than at any point in the past 25 years. Less than 1/3 of New Mexicans are currently registered as Republicans.

I believe the Republican Party of New Mexico will go along with the strategy of hiding her affiliation if it will help to hold her seat.

Yes I did. My bad. I’ll admit that I know only what I read here on her and I don’t know her voting record or stance. Did not catch that she’s the incumbent. All I need to see at this point is a (R) after a politicians name to know all I need to know. And she knows that. So she’s ashamed? I’ll bet. Grifter On Parade.

I’m sure that’ll fool’em .

For fairness, my Alabama Dem candidate doesn’t have ‘Democratic’ on her signs, and my usual approach when canvassing is “Could I get you to split your vote?”

Candidates do this type of thing all the time: they’ll put tape on or paint over primary election dates and their party affiliation before putting up signs for the general election.
