I’ve been arguing with two idiots on FB about Voter ID. They really, really cannot comprehend anyone living a different life from theirs. In their lives, EVERYONE has a government issued photo ID that they simply renew by mail or online (because EVERYOBDY is online, right?) every couple years. Nobody could POSSIBLY live in America without having to show their ID, even though the number of times I’ve had to show my ID this year is in the low single digits, and two of those were big financial transactions (refi, and buying a car).

They’ve convinced themselves about FRAUD but get furious when you bring up the actual cases of fraud committed by GOP and right wing operatives. The whole damn thing is just Republicans upset because they know that larger amount of voters is bad news for their sad excuse for a party.
