Yep, but the current Democratic Governor is retiring (we have no term limits but he lasted for 3). And we have a jungle primary with like 20 people now so it is possible that only Democrats make it through the primary. I hitnk it is very likely that no Republican makes the election.

When generalizing about Washington, it’s similar to Oregon, and to a smaller extent, California: Liberal in the western portions, less so in the eastern ones. I think of Spokane as conservative, but I’m not all that familiar with it.
