Way back in 2008, a major Hizbullah terrorist, Imad Mughniyah was killed in a car bombing in Beirut. At the time, all eyes fell on Israel, which denied involvement. Now, the WaPo is reporting that the CIA was deeply involved, and that the Mossad had its finger on the trigger. The report claims that the CIA helped design the bomb, testing it at Langley to minimize collateral casualties.

Mughniyah was implicated in several high profile bombings, including the US embassy in Beirut, and the Israeli embassy bombing in Argentina, so his targeting makes sense, and it took a presidential finding to authorize the attack.

This is what I want the US government to do. This isn’t a game.
