Really awe inspiring footage of last years Tsunami in Japan, I have not seen this footage or this view before. The large harbor breakwaters and the giant (25-30’) seawall between the port and the town did nothing. Mother nature really does laugh at mans attempts to protect themselves from her…

(The water does not start to come back into the harbor until about 2:30, after that it gets interesting fast. The second surge is larger than the first and pretty much chews up the whole town.)
