The closest analog we’d have with Trump’s malfeasance in the courtroom and violations of the gag order(s) would be mob bosses or gang members who threaten witnesses or jurors or court officials. It is not common.
And mob threats or bribes to jurors tend to be sub rosa.
Unknown to us, a juror was bribed in a fed case in NJ, that found our client and numerous co-defendants not guilty. FWIW, Alito was the AUSA.
It took a while for the feds to figure out which juror. Meanwhile our guy decided he had paid enough for his criminal defense, and we withdrew from further representation.
