I doubt they used tubes for the emp. They used tubes cause they couldn’t make microprocessors. Tubes in a plane is just loonie. Too big, too much heat.

Mig-25 that Belenko brought to Japan was tubes. Russia is about the only source left if you are restoring any vintage tube type electronics.
