The man had been elected to the LA state legislature and had ran for governor and senator of Louisiana. Hell it was so bad when he ran for Senator of Louisiana that then President Bush and the GOP had ti disavow his candidancy but Duke still got 43.5% of the vote and I wouldn’t be shocked if Steve Scalise was among those that voted for him.
