I’m reading various headlines on news sites and blogs this morning and feeling that we (nation, civilization, or species, take your pick) really are on a suicide mission. No, I’m not just talking about the selfish stupidity of the Corsi and Bratfart groups, but the overall amazing ability we have to lie to ourselves. I suppose it was some sort of evolutionary advantage at some time… but now it’s become more of a death sentence.
