NYC Prohibits Controversial Subway Ads in Wake of Islamist’s Vandalism

I have to say that Ms Eltahawy was totally in the wrong. She was defacing a legally placed ad….an ad that was legal free speech. She could have elected to protest the sign, pay for an ad of her own….whatever. Expressing hatred is free speech….spray painting over it is an action and illegal. Had she done this and happily accepted her arrest I would have viewed it as a plucky protest but to then harangue the cops for doing their job was also tacky. And further her actions only served to give Pam Geller the exact platform of victim that she desired.
