That’s usually their argument. “So when does it become a human, hurr hurr?!!”. When do several grains of sand become a heap? At what second a person becomes an adult? Vagueness. Can’t deal with it.

Seriously. In a Creationism/Evolution discussion one tried to pin me down on when Homo Erectus became human, after I pointed to the cranial vault capacity that started out chimp size in the earliest fossils (“It’s just a monkey!”) and over time expand to the low end of Homo sapiens size in the latest fossils (“It’s just a human!”).

He claimed that this meant that there was some point in time when a human baby was born to nonhuman parents. Absolutely could not accept the idea of the species gradually becoming what we think of as human.

Mind you, species is a human concept anyway, like gender.
