Really, we thought that the Culture Wars had been pretty much won, but between banning CRT, abortion and the overall assault on non-white voting, we are about to be overrun.

They have eased up on anti-gay ideology but for that are turning up the heat on trans rights.

I don’t know if I’d say they are succeeding yet. They are using the last vestiges of their power to enforce their restrictive and anti-American agenda. It remains to be seen if their ace in the hole, the unfairly stacked Supreme Court, will allow these “wins” to stand. The bigger problem is that they are setting up to continue this practice by preventing Americans from voting them out, because that’s “not fair”. Because apparently, being broadly unpopular across most of the country isn’t supposed to translate to getting your ass handed to you in elections, for some reason they have yet to clarify.
