The kids who say that are looking for an excuse to do just that (repressed behavior and all that). Then they can blame the booze.

Mean drunks have a lot more going on than blaming booze for mean behavior.

A lot of times they’re contemplating family history. My folks never drank. OK, if you consider some wine for Thanksgiving drinking. I once bought a bottle of whisky and my mom freaked out! I mean seriously freaked. I ended up pouring it down the drain. I didn’t start drinking in earnest until I turned 30 and that lasted for a good 15 years. Never a beer guy though.
