FWIW, I’m the proud owner of a 1988 Strat and 1979 The Paul. The guy I was taking lessons from thinks the Strat, despite showing 35 years of abuse from me, might be worth $1200. I’m skeptical but who knows.

No idea what the The Paul (Jesus, what an awkward name) is worth. There’s a guy in Center City Philly who appraises guitars; I need to contact him and see what he’s charging.
