I don’t agree with that, firstly because body armor is not a notable factor in crime, the North Hollywood shootout excepted. Let people protect themselves as they wish.

So…police need AR-15s to defend themselves against criminals with automatic weapons due to the North Hollywood shooting, but that shooting doesn’t mean we should restrict body armor (or the weapons) used in that shooting?
