CNN had one of the Trump 2020 flaks on this morning and the talking points were already coalescing pretty clearly (paraphrased):

- “The fact that there are no further indictments means [Trump] is in the clear and there’s no evidence of criminal acts.”

- “Democrats need to accept the results of the report, as they said that they supported Mueller and his investigation, and so continuing to investigate [Trump] would mean contradicting Mueller’s conclusions.”

- “‘Everybody’ agreed that the Clinton investigation was ‘mishandled,’ so it’s totally not hypocritical of Republicans to demand Democrats end all their investigations into [Trump] now while continuing to demand further investigations into the Clintons.”

“Which report is that? How much of it have you read?”
